La nostra installazione è stata presentata a Setup Art Fair, a Bologna, a fine gennaio 2016.
"TUNABOX" è un progetto itinerante iniziato nel 2015 che vuole
rappresentare la leggendaria mattanza del tonno, metodo di pesca
tradizionale praticato in Italia nelle isole del Mediterraneo, la cui
origine risale al popolo etrusco.
Attraverso le immagini del tonno, della tradizione, dei canti
popolari, della religione, vogliamo ripercorrere le tappe della pesca
al tonno moderna. Sicilia, Sardegna, Olanda e Giappone.
Il progetto è in continua espansione perchè il tonno è forse tra gli
animali più mangiati, sicuramente il più pop.
Ripercorrete con noi attraverso le immagini la storia dei pescatori,
della tradizione e dello scontro tra vita e morte.
Nell'occhio di chi osserva si nasconde il messaggio: immergersi in un'esperienza? rivivere un'antica leggenda?
criticarne la violenza per poi rimpiangerla? dubitare del presente?

practiced in Italy in the Mediterranean islands.
